LinkedIn posts: write, schedule and publish from Mako Reach

Draft a post, attach images, schedule it or publish now from any connected account, then read its stats and reply to comments.

Mako Reach now has a Posts tab. You can write a LinkedIn post, schedule it and check how it did without leaving the tool you already use for outreach.

People who receive your invite often open your profile. A few recent posts give them something to read. Until now, keeping that up meant posting by hand from every account.

What you can do

  • Write a draft. The composer counts characters against the 3,000 limit and saves as you type.
  • Attach images. Up to nine per post, JPEG or PNG, up to 5 MB each and 15 MB in total.
  • Choose the account. Pick it under "Posting as" from the accounts connected to your workspace.
  • Publish now or schedule. Choose a date, a time and a time zone. A scheduled time must be at least 10 minutes ahead and at most 90 days away.
  • Follow the results. Open a published post to see reactions, comments and reposts, with a trend chart. An analytics page covers all your posts.
  • Reply to comments. Read the thread on the post page and answer as the account that wrote the post.

How it stays under control

A person starts every action. Nothing is published, commented on or replied to by itself.

Each account has its own posting limits. It can publish 3 posts per day (UTC) with at least 30 minutes between them, and send 30 replies per day. If a scheduled post is more than an hour late, for example because the account was disconnected, it is marked Missed and is not published afterwards.

If Mako Reach cannot confirm that a publish worked, the post moves to a "Needs check" list. It is never sent a second time on its own.

Limits you should know

  • A published post cannot be edited or deleted from Mako Reach. Do that on LinkedIn.
  • Impressions show only when LinkedIn returns them. We show nothing instead of a made-up zero.
  • This release covers text and images. Video, documents and polls are not included.
  • An AI post generator is in testing. It is not available yet.
  • Posting on your behalf is automation, and LinkedIn's terms restrict automated tools. The limits above reduce the risk. They cannot remove it.

How to try it

Open the demo, go to Posts, click New post and schedule one for tomorrow. The demo uses sample data and nothing is sent to LinkedIn.
